Excel 2010: Basics I - Navigating and Formatting

This workshop assumes no prior experience with Excel. Topics include an introduction to Excel; entering and editing data in cells; cut, copy and paste; formatting fonts, alignments, borders and shading. Lots of shortcuts!

This workshop assumes minimal experience with Excel, Basics I recommended. Topics include working with series; number formatting; working with formulas; using basic functions; using absolute and relative references; and naming cells and cell ranges.

Excel 2010: Large Data II - Pivot Tables
1.5 hours
This workshop assumes some experience with Excel, Basics II recommended. Topics include data groupings, pivot tables, pivot charts, formatting pivot tables, adding and removing data, multiple data forms, and sorting in pivot tables.

Excel 2010: Lookup
1.5 hours
Topics include creating a validation rule to make a drop-down list; how to use the VLOOKUP function; creating IF functions to hide errors; and how to use them together to AutoFill a form. Experience with building equations in Excel required.

Excel 2010: Dates and Times
1.5 hour
Topics include understanding the date serial number; using built in and custom formatting for dates and times; simple math to find durations between days and times; and using some of Excel's Date and Time functions. This workshop assumes some prior experience with building functions in Excel. Completion of "Excel: Basics II" is recommended.
